Council shall adopt traffic resolutions establishing no parking zones, stop signs, yield signs, speed limits, crosswalks, loading zones, one-way streets and alleys and other similar regulations upon concurrence with the recommendations of the Traffic Engineer. The passage of such resolutions shall be authorized for the erection of necessary signs and/or traffic control devices appropriate to each given instance. Existing traffic resolutions adopted under authority of previous Traffic Code(s) of the City shall remain in effect until rescinded by specific action of Council.
