(a) After determining to assess assessable costs against a responsible party, the City of Davison shall prepare and mail an itemized invoice to the responsible party at its last known address. The invoice shall demand full payment within thirty (30) days of billing. Any amounts due that remain unpaid thirty (30) days after the date of billing shall have imposed a late charge thereon that shall not exceed the maximum rate permitted by law until said account shall be paid in full.
(b) If a responsible party shall appeal assessable costs, such costs, if upheld, in whole or in part, shall be due and payable thirty (30) days from the date of determination of the appeal and any late payment fees shall apply thereafter.
(c) Any additional expense that becomes known following the transmittal of the bill to the responsible party shall be billed in the same manner on a subsequent bill to the responsible party.
