232.01 APPOINTMENT; DUTIES.

The City Manager shall appoint a City Building Official to perform those duties and responsibilities set forth in these Codified Ordinances for such office, which also includes the Michigan Building Code and the Michigan Residential Code adopted in Chapter 1421.
