(a) All elected or appointed officers of the City, including those appointed officers whose offices are not specifically set forth in the Charter, and all City employees shall disclose any known interest, whether direct or indirect, that they or their immediate family may have with respect to any purchase, contract, zoning, or other decision made by that officer or employee, or an appointed or elected board to which they or their immediate family have applied for such a decision, prior to the making of that decision.
(b) All elected or appointed officers of the City, including those appointed officers not specifically named in the Charter, shall abstain from any vote in which they or their immediate family have a direct financial interest.
(c) For the purposes of this section, immediate family shall include parents, spouses, children, grandparents, brothers or sisters, and any persons with whom the officer or employee is living, whether related or unrelated.
