Except as otherwise provided in this Charter, all fees paid to any appointive officer in the performance of any duties which may be required under the ordinances of the City, this Charter, or by State law shall be accounted for and forthwith deposited upon receipt in a depository designated by the Council. Failure to do so shall constitute misconduct in office.
