The municipal corporation now existing and known as the City of Davison shall continue as a body corporate and shall include the territory constituting the City of Davison on the effective date of this Charter together with any territory which may be annexed to it as provided by State law. The name, "City of Davison," shall be referred to as the "City" following in this document.
