(4) Anyone interested in placing a bid on a surplus item must fill out the form provided by the Auditor’s Office and submit it to the Auditor prior to the date and time set forth in the notice.
(5) The person with the highest bid will be notified by the Auditor’s office and will have five days to pay for the item in the Auditor’s office and remove from the courthouse. Checks should be made payable to the County Treasurer.
(6) Any property deemed by the Auditor to be worthless may be junked or given away to a not-for-profit organization or any other interested parties.
