§ 95.027 REMOVAL OF MEMBERS.
    Each member of the Advisory Board serves as a volunteer citizen to assist in advising the Department in carrying out the Department's mission, vision and values. In the event that a Board member is convicted of a felony or any act involving moral turpitude, takes an action deemed to be detrimental to the interest of the county, or misses more than three consecutive meetings in a term year; the Recreation and Parks Director has a duty to recommend to the Board of Commissioners the removal of that Board member. Prior to any removal, the Board member in question may make a written request for a hearing to the Recreation and Parks Director or the County Manager. Said request shall be given no more than seven days upon receiving the recommendation of removal from the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board.
