In order to qualify for financial assistance from Davie County, a fire and/or rescue agency must be organized as a non-profit corporation under the laws of North Carolina (11 NCAC 05A), or a department of a municipal government in the county. Each fire and/or rescue agency shall execute a contract and comply with all terms therein.
(A) Each fire and/or rescue agency desiring to provide the citizens of Davie County emergency services and receive county financial assistance under the terms of this subchapter shall execute a service contract between the agency and the county which contract shall be signed by the president and the secretary of the corporation.
(B) If a fire and/or rescue provider is in breach of their signed service agreement, the county may exercise its remedies as provided in the service agreement.
