The Davidson County Board of Commissioners authorizes the administration and enforcement of this chapter. The administration and enforcement of this chapter shall be vested with the Davidson County Planning Director. Further, the Davidson County Planning Department may employ individuals to operate as Solid Waste Enforcement Officers, who shall have the authority and duty to perform inspections, issue citations, assess penalties, and take enforcement actions subject to the direction of the Planning Director.
