(A) Franchisees operating on a fee for service basis shall not exceed the Davidson County EMS fee schedule of ambulance fees as may annually be amended and updated by Davidson County EMS.
(B) The franchisee may not attempt to collect fees or charges from the family, guardian or patient during the course of medical treatment. The service may gather appropriate medical billing information to facilitate reimbursement at a later date and time.
(C) For non-emergency services provided which involve transportation originating outside the county or terminating more than 50 miles outside the county, payment may be required before rendering service.
