The Fire Marshal is authorized to enter and examine any building, structure, marine vessel, vehicle, or premises, with the exception of one- and two-family dwellings, within the jurisdiction of this chapter pursuant to G.S. § 58-79-20. When duly qualified, under G.S. §§ 143-151.13 and 160D-1103, the Fire Marshal shall be authorized to exercise code enforcement within the jurisdiction of Davidson County. See § 98.085.
