No provision of this chapter shall be construed or applied in conflict with the provisions of North Carolina General Statues pertaining to the regulation of wildlife and wildlife resources; nor shall any provision of this chapter be construed or applied to permit any activity or condition with respect to a wild animal which is prohibited or more severely restricted by regulations of the Wildlife Resources Commission.
