(A) Violation of this chapter is an infraction as provided in GS. § 914-4. The maximum penalty for each daily violation of the chapter is $50.00 per day, plus all costs associated with or resulting from the violation, such as removal, towing and storage.
(B) Violation of this chapter shall also subject the offender to a civil penalty of $100.00 per day for each day of violation. As permitted by G.S. § 153 A- 123(c), such civil penalty shall be recovered by the county in a civil action in the nature of debt if the offender does not pay the civil penalty within ten days after having been cited for violation of this chapter.
