(A) Speed shall be limited after the effective date of this schedule in said town as follows.
(1) Speed limited to 30 mph.
(a) From 1,500 feet north, south, east and west at the intersection of Darmstadt Road with Boonville-New Harmony Road, the limit shall be 30 mph.
(b) Speed shall be limited to 30 mph on the following streets: Ridge Knoll, Kahre Court, Hillsdale Road from its intersection at Darmstadt Road westward to Watershore Drive.
(c) The speed limit on Wortman Road shall be 30 mph.
(d) The speed limit on Martin Road shall be 30 mph.
(2) Speed limited to 40 mph. All other streets, roads, drives, lanes an avenues in said town shall be limited to 40 mph.
(B) The Council may from time to time, by resolution, change speed limits and cause signs to be removed or other signs erected at any time as, in its discretion by such resolution duly entered onto the minutes of the Council, the Council from time to time deems proper, and such resolution shall become effective upon notice of the same being posted in one public place in each ward of the town at least ten days prior to the effective date.
(C) Persons violating the provisions of division (A) above or any resolution made pursuant thereto by the Council shall be punished on conviction as provided by law.
