§ 50.02  ELECTRIC UTILITY BOARD.
   The Electric Utility Board shall be the governing body of the Electric Utility Department and shall consist of the duly elected or appointed members of the Town Council, which Board shall have the duties and responsibilities of making all decisions relating to the ownership, operating and management of the electric utility. The Electric Utility Board is hereby empowered to hire employees as its shall deem necessary and convenient to the operation and maintenance of the electric utility system, including but not limited to a Superintendent of Electric Utility, bookkeeper or controller, meter reader, attorney, accountants, engineers, maintenance personnel, an independent contractors or other persons, firms or corporations that shall be necessary to the rendering of adequate electric utility service to the town and its environs.
