(A) The Clerk-Treasurer shall hereafter promptly notify the Council President, the Town Council and the County Council of their requirements to make selections and nominations to the Commission. The officers required to make the selections and nominations shall do so within 15 days after receiving that notice. Each selectee and nominee shall be appointed by the Council President within 10 days after he or she shall receive the nominations of the persons.
(B) At the expiration of the respective terms of each of the original Commissioners, the respective successors shall be selected and nominated, before the expiration of the term, in the same manner as the original Commissioner and each succeeding Commissioner shall serve for a term of 4 years. A Commissioner shall hold over after the expiration of his or her term until his or her successor is appointed and has qualified.
