§ 130.09  YARD SALES.
   (A)   Each residence or other institution may hold not more than 2 yard sales on its premises per calendar year, and each sale shall last for no longer than 3 consecutive days.
   (B)   For the purpose of this section, YARD SALE shall mean any sale of used household personal property at the residence of the seller(s), whether held outdoors or indoors, and includes garage sales and tag sales, but does not include the sale of personal property requiring a title from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, such as motor vehicles with “for sale” signs on them, including, but not limited to, bicycles, mowers ATVs and the like.
   (C) Any person who violates this section shall be subject to a fine of $100 per day of violation. In addition, the town may initiate legal action to enjoin any sale that violates this section.
