The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to have prepared and posted on roads at all entrances to the town signs advising the incoming public of the existence of this chapter of prohibition, which signs shall be of the size and shape as may from time to time be determined by the Town Council, which shall be erected at approximately the same height above ground level as are road traffic signs and upon the sides shall be printed or painted the following words, to wit: NO SELLING, SOLICITING OR PEDDLING DOOR-TO-DOOR ALLOWED.
