Sec. 5.1. Resolution may apply to 1992 primary and general elections.
   Notwithstanding G.S. § 153A-22(e), a resolution adopted under that section before the opening of the 1992 filing period for the Date County Board of Commissioners, may apply to the 1992 primary and general elections.
