(A) Hours of operation. No person or establishment licensed to sell alcohol pursuant to this chapter shall sell, offer for sale, or serve any alcohol, nor shall any alcohol be consumed at the place of business of such licensee, except during the following described days and hours (all times being local Danville time):
(1) For all Class A, AA, B, BW, E, F, P, R, and V licensees:
(a) Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight;
(b) Friday and Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.; and
(c) Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
(2) For Class C licenses: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
(3) For Class GC licenses: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
(4) For Class T license; the days and hours shall be as set forth within such license when issued.
(5) Extended holiday hours for Class A Liquor Licensees. If any of the following holidays fall on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, no person shall sell or offer for sale, at retail, or give away, in or upon any licensed premises, any alcohol between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
(6) On New Year’s Eve, alcoholic liquor may be sold or offered for sale at any time between the hours of 6:00 a.m. on December 31 and 2:00 a.m. on January 1.
(B) Limits on certain license classes. Class A and Class P liquor holders shall not be open for any purpose during the hours in which the sale of alcohol is prohibited.
(C) Closing down premises. Any person or establishment licensed pursuant to this chapter shall be allowed one-half hour to remove the public from the premises under the day and time restrictions set forth in subsection (A) above. During such one-half hour period, no alcohol shall be sold, offered for sale or otherwise dispensed or furnished.
