§ 150.007 CONTINUATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
   (A)   The provisions of this codification of this chapter shall be construed as a continuation of prior Zoning Ordinances in effect at the time this chapter was enacted, notwithstanding the repeal of said prior Zoning Ordinances. It is the intention of this chapter to re-enact and continue to enforce such existing provisions so that all rights, obligations, and responsibilities that have accrued thereunder are preserved and may be enforced, unless explicitly surrendered by specific provisions of this chapter or altered by the Official Zoning Map. The adoption of this chapter shall not adversely affect the City's right to prosecute any violation of the preceding Zoning Ordinance provided the violation occurred while that Ordinance was in effect.
   (B)   All plans approved under previous zoning regulations shall be valid and may be used to obtain permits for a period of not more than six months after the effective date of this chapter. This chapter shall become effective ten days after passage and publication according to law.
