(A) A person commits theft from a coin- operated machine when he or she knowingly and without authority opens, breaks into, tampers with, triggers or damages a coin- operated machine either:
(1) To operate or use the machine; or
(2) With the intent to commit a theft from the machine.
(B) A person convicted of theft from a coin-operated machine shall be punished as provided in § 130.99.
