The provider shall at his own expense defend all suits that may be brought against the city on account of, in connection with, or by reason of any damage or injury to life, limb, or property connected with, growing out of, or caused by any act or omission to act of the provider or any employee of the provider in or about the operations of its facilities and shall save and keep harmless the city from any and all damages, judgments, costs, and expenses of every kind that may arise or result by reason of the negligence of the provider or its employees by reason of, growing out of, or connected with the operation of its facilities and the carrying out of the terms and provisions of this chapter.
