§ 119.05 GROUND TOWERS.
   Ground mounted towers of self-supporting type regulated by this chapter need not be guyed, but shall have each leg mounted to a ground footing of concrete. The concrete footing shall be in the ground 1/12 of the total height of the tower and the footing shall be a minimum of 12 inches by 12 inches. Approved self-supporting towers of steel shall not be grounded on any roof of any building unless the structure of the building is approved by the code enforcement officer.
