§ 118.052 OPERATING STANDARDS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for a licensee to rent, let or otherwise allow occupation of any room which is unsanitary, in a state of disrepair, or in a deteriorated condition which would render it unfit for human occupation.
   (B)   All common areas accessible by or visible to patrons shall be kept in a state of good repair and appearance, and free of litter, trash, garbage and offensive odors.
   (C)   All buildings, structures, and other physical improvements on the property shall be kept painted when necessary and in good repair. Landscaping shall be maintained regularly. All walkways, parking areas, signs, fencing and lighting shall be maintained in good repair.
   (D)   Effective measures intended to minimize the presence of rodents, cockroaches, and other insects and vermin on the premises shall be utilized. The establishment and grounds shall be kept in such a condition as to prevent the harborage or feeding of insects and rodents.
   (E)   All garbage and refuse shall be stored according to Chapter 93 of this Code and collected at least once weekly by licensed private haulers.
   (F)   Each room to be occupied shall be provided individual wrapped soap and sufficient clean individual bath cloths and towels for the number of patrons occupying such room. Clean bed linen, in good repair, shall be provided for each guest who is provided accommodations and shall be changed as necessary. Clean linen shall be stored and handled in a sanitary manner.
   (G)   An inspection of the premises shall be conducted at or near the time of license application as well as each renewal. The scope of an inspection performed pursuant to this subchapter shall be limited to the provisions contained herein. In lieu of the inspection required herein, a licensee may submit its most recent quality assurance inspection report from a duly qualified inspector. Nothing contained herein shall prohibit an inspection based upon any other applicable city codes.
