Upon installation of a new alarm system, the responsible party shall have a 30-day grace period from the date of installation before any alarm activation will be counted toward the four allowable false alarms. In the event the date of installation cannot be determined, the date the alarm permit was issued will be used to determine the expiration of the grace period.
