§ 95.01 DECLARATION OF POLICY.
   It is declared to be the public policy of the city:
   (A)   To secure for all individuals within the city freedom from unlawful discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status or physical or mental handicap in connection with employment, real estate transactions, and places of public accommodation;
   (B)   To prevent sexual harassment in employment;
   (C)   To prevent discrimination based on familial status in real estate transactions;
   (D)   To establish equal opportunity as the policy of the city in its decisions, programs and activities, and to assure that all departments, boards, commissions and instrumentalities take affirmative action to provide equality of opportunity and eliminate the effects of past discrimination in the internal affairs of the city; and
   (E)   To protect citizens against unfounded charges of unlawful discrimination and sexual harassment in employment.
