§ 90.19 SLAYING OF VICIOUS DOGS.
   If any dangerous, fierce, or vicious dogs cannot be safely taken up and impounded, such dog may be slain. In all cases where any dog which has bitten a person or caused an abrasion of the skin is slain, whether by order of courts or otherwise, and a period of less than ten days has elapsed since the day upon which the dog bit any person or caused an abrasion of the skin of any person, then and in such event, it shall be the duty of the person slaying the dog to forthwith deliver the carcass and the brain of the dog to the Animal Control Officer.
