§ 90.11 LICENSE; FEE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to own, harbor, keep, possess or otherwise maintain a dog within the corporate limits of the City without first having obtained a license therefore from the Animal Control Officer.
   (B)   Every person who owns, harbors, keeps, or otherwise possesses, a dog within the City shall report to the Animal Control Officer within 30 days after the person becomes the owner, harborer, keeper, or possessor of a dog and annually thereafter, the following information: his or her name and address; the name, breed, color, and sex of each dog owned, harbored, kept, or possessed; and a certificate of a licensed veterinarian that the dog has been vaccinated for rabies within a period of not more than 30 days prior to the date of the report. At the time of the initial report, and annually thereafter on the anniversary date of the initial report, the owner, harborer, keeper, or possessor of the dog shall pay to the Animal Control Officer or his designee the sum of $7.50, and the Animal Control Officer shall cause the dog to be registered for a license. On payment of the fee and receipt of the report, the Animal Control Officer or his designee shall furnish to the person paying the fee and filing the report an annual license tag and receipt for each dog so registered.
   (C)   Persons 65 years of age or older shall pay a license fee of $0.00 for each license required to be obtained under this section.
