§ 90.08 CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP; DEATH OF ANIMAL.
   The owner, harborer, keeper, possessor or other person in custody and control of any dog within the corporate limits shall notify the Animal Control Officer immediately upon the following: the animal runs away; the animal dies; ownership of the animal is transferred to another person. If the ownership is transferred, within 72 hours of the transfer of ownership, both the original owner and new owner must appear at the offices of the Animal Control Officer to complete any necessary paperwork to transfer the records for such animal to the new owner.
