§ 52.09 ADDITIONAL SOLID WASTE PICKUP SERVICE FOR IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS.
   (A)   Intent. It is the City's intent to offer an additional solid waste pick-up service, through its Solid Waste Division, at no additional charge, to persons that are handicapped or have some other physical or mental impairment and are therefore unable to place their own toters at the designated location for collection. This service is not available for "commercial solid waste". Only normal and reasonable types and Quantities of solid waste will be picked up as part of this service.
   (B)   Registration. Persons interested in this service shall arrange to meet with the Superintendent of Solid Waste to discuss this service and to fill out the proper forms. Any person requesting this service shall provide sufficient information to support the need for such service. The Superintendent shall be responsible for determining that sufficient information has been provided and that the person is eligible for the service described in this section. All registrants must sign a hold-harmless agreement indemnifying the City or its employees against all claims arising from the provision of this service on the registrant's property.
