(A) Solid waste receptacles used for household solid waste collection at single-family dwelling structures and multi-family dwelling structures of three units or less shall be designed for use with fully automated hydraulic lifting equipment, shall have a capacity of not more than 100 gallons, and shall be approved by the Superintendent of Solid Waste (Other Toter), unless it is the receptacle offered for sale by the City (City Toter).
(B) City Toters or Other Toters that have deteriorated or that have been damaged to the extent of being badly dented, leaking, without handles or covers, or having ill-fitting covers, or having jagged or sharp edges capable of causing injury shall be replaced or satisfactorily repaired prior to continued use.
(C) The City Toter issued, at no additional cost, by the City shall be assigned by the City to a specific address and shall remain at and only be used at such address. It shall be a violation of this chapter to use the City-issued City Toter at an address other than the assigned address. Toters purchased through the City may only be purchased by City Solid Waste customers and may only be used at City Solid Waste customer locations.
