(A) There is hereby established a City Code Hearing Department, the function of which is to expedite the prosecution and correction of violations of the city code in the manner provided by this chapter. The hearing officer and such other agents or employees assigned to the hearing officer by the mayor, shall constitute the Code Hearing Department.
(B) The adoption of this chapter does not preclude the city from using other lawful methods to enforce the provisions of the city code.
