§ 37.08 DUTIES.
   The duties of the advisory task force shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
   (A)   To review and approve any grant adjustments, program activities, or related matters that are not in direct compliance with the victim/witness advocate program grant prior to submission to Illinois Law Enforcement Commission.
   (B)   To have direct input into the victim/witness advocate program grant budget. Changes shall not be made in the budget unless reviewed and approved by the advisory task force.
   (C)   To review applicants for the position of director of the victim/witness advocate program and refer the applicants selected to the mayor for approval with the advice and consent of the council. The director shall be under the direction of the project supervisor and in compliance with the policies of the advisory task force.
   (D)   To release or authorize the release of all publicity regarding the victim/witness advocate program.
   (E)   To insure that the goals and objectives of the victim/witness advocate program are adhered to, 3 designated persons serving on the task force shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the council to give a quarterly report of the program's activities to the mayor and council members.
