§ 34.24 DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS FROM SALE.
   After paying and deducting all reasonable charges and expenses incurred by the chief of police in receiving, keeping, advertising for sale, and selling any bicycle or other chattel the proceeds shall be paid to the city treasurer and shall go into the general fund of the city.
