The Commission members shall select one member, who shall be resident of the City, to serve as chairman. During his/her initial term, the chairman shall serve for the entire term. Thereafter, a chairman shall serve for three-year terms. A specific chairman may serve consecutive terms if re-appointed by the Mayor. The Commission shall appoint a vice-chairman to conduct activities during the chairman’s absence.
