The Danville Area Planning and Zoning Commission, hereinafter referred to as Commission shall have seven voting members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The composition of the Commission shall generally reflect the character of the City and shall attempt to include representatives of the following groups or interests: land development, economic development, education, historic preservation, finance, law, neighborhood revitalization, utilities, and the like. Members shall reside within the City, except at any given time, one member may live outside the City, but within Blount, Newell, or Danville Township.
