§ 32.12 PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT.
   There is hereby established as a Department of the municipal government of the City a Public Transportation Department, which shall manage and effectuate the duties and functions assigned to it by ordinance, including but not limited to the control, management and supervision of all aspects of providing public transportation and the care and maintenance of transit-related buildings, vehicles and equipment. The Executive Officer of the Department shall be the Director of Public Transportation. The Director shall report to the Mayor, shall inform the Mayor and the City Council as to the business and affairs of the department, and shall manage the personnel of the Department.
