No work shall be undertaken which may result in damages to, obstruction of, or possible hazards to any adjoining property. Whenever any portion of the work requires entry onto adjacent property for any reason, the permit applicant shall obtain the written consent of the adjacent property owner or his authorized representative, and shall file a copy of the consent with the Town Engineer before a permit for such work may be issued.
