1-5.2   Criminal Penalties.
   a.   Any person who violates a provision of This Code, or fails to comply with any requirements or conditions imposed upon such person under the authority of This Code shall be guilty of an infraction, unless This Code otherwise makes the violation a misdemeanor.
   b.   Pursuant to Government Code Section 36900, the penalty for any person found guilty of an infraction shall be a fine not to exceed one hundred ($100) dollars for a first violation, two hundred ($200) dollars for a second violation of the same ordinance within one (1) year and five hundred ($500) dollars for each additional violation of the same ordinance within one (1) year.
   c.   Pursuant to Government Code Sections 36901 and 36903, the penalty for any person found guilty of a misdemeanor shall be a fine not to exceed one thousand ($1000) dollars and/or imprisonment in the County Jail not to exceed six (6) months. (Ord. #9, §3, 1982; Ord. #2002-04, §3, 2002)
