Persons who wish to engage in canvassing, solicitations or peddling for the benefit of a non-profit organization or non-profit corporation shall be exempted from the provisions of this chapter providing the non-profit organization or non-profit corporation upon who behalf or for whom the persons desire to canvass, solicit or peddle shall meet the following requirements.
(A) The organization or corporation must hold its regularly scheduled meetings within the corporate limits of the village.
(B) All canvassing, soliciting or peddling must be performed only by bona fide members of the organization or corporation.
(C) The organization or corporation shall provide to the Mayor or the Mayor's designee prior to engaging in canvassing, soliciting or peddling a tax exemption certificate issued by the state.
