§ 99.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   EMERGENCY ALARM. Any alarm that is installed, maintained or operated for the purpose of detecting and signaling the presence of a holdup, unauthorized intrusion, fire, medical emergency or other purpose to notify and request the assistance of the Village Police Department.
   PREMISES. Any parcel of real estate located within the village, including all buildings, structures and improvements located thereon.
   USER. Any person or entity that uses or receives a direct benefit from the installation, operation or maintenance of an emergency alarm, including the owner or lessee of any premises upon which an emergency alarm is installed, maintained, operated.
