§ 53.32 METERS REQUIRED; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   There shall be installed on all wells or sources of water supply other than the village water system itself, where the water is disposed of in a village sewer, either storm, sanitary or combined sewer, a water meter for the measurement of the water or for the amount thereof which is discharged into the village sewage system. The type of water meter used must be approved in writing by the Water/Sewer Superintendent. The amount of water usage from the wells and water sources shall be monitored by the village.
   (B)   The village may exempt from this requirement any underground water users who can establish, to the satisfaction of the village, that they do not dispose of the underground water used, by connections to the storm sewers or the sanitary sewers of the village sewer system.
