(A) Notice of the intention to drill any water well shall be given to the Water/Sewer Superintendent not less than ten working days before work is to commence on the making of the well. This notice shall include at least the name, address and telephone number of the owner of the land upon which the well is to be drilled, the date the drilling is to commence, the location of the well, the size of the well, the purposes for the well and the name of the driller. Any proposed water well must be approved in writing by the Water/Sewer Superintendent.
(B) No person or entity shall dig, drill, construct, install, alter or extend a water well for any purpose whatsoever within the village which is dug, drilled, constructed, installed, altered or extended contrary to the statutes of the state, the State Administrative Code, the regulations of the State Department of Health, the ordinances of the village or the regulations of the County Health District, as the same may be in effect and applicable thereto from time to time.
