§ 52.66 ASSISTANT WATER AND SEWERAGE SUPERINTENDENT.
   (A)   The duties of this position shall be as directed by the Water and Sewerage Superintendent.
   (B)   The compensation of the Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall be as established by ordinance of the Village Council.
   (C)   The Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs, two-thirds of its number concurring.
   (D)   The Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall work the hours as he or she shall be directed by the Water and Sewerage Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent may work more than 40 hours per week and shall receive pay at a rate of one and one-half times the base hourly rate for each hour of overtime worked in excess of over eight hours per day and 40 hours per week.
   (E)   For each class, a state water and wastewater license obtained by the Assistant Superintendent, the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs is authorized to compensate the Assistant Superintendent and he or she shall receive an annual pay raise as established by ordinance.
   (F)   The Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall receive the vacation as shall be specified by the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs, in addition to the official holidays identified by the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs as official holidays. The day following Thanksgiving day shall be deemed a holiday and the birthday of the Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall also be deemed a holiday. The Assistant Water and Sewerage Superintendent may choose another day as a holiday in lieu of his or her birthday.
   (G)   The Assistant Superintendent of Water and Sewerage shall receive a vacation of one week per year beginning with the first anniversary of his or her employment and two weeks per year beginning with his or her second anniversary of employment and three weeks per year beginning with the fifth anniversary of his or her employment. Vacation shall be taken within the calendar year following and will not be cumulative. Vacation shall be scheduled at the convenience of the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs.
   (H)   The Board of Trustees of Public Affairs may from time to time, and with the companies as determined by the Board, purchase a contract for hospitalization insurance for the Assistant Superintendent covering the Assistant Superintendent and the family of the Assistant Superintendent, which hospitalization insurance shall be paid by the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs. The insurance coverage shall be at the sole discretion of the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs in addition to any other insurance the Board of Trustees may provide.
   (I)   The Assistant Water and Sewerage Superintendent shall be entitled to 4.6 hours of sick leave for each 80 hours worked. The days, when not used, shall be cumulative and shall accumulate to a total of 90 days, not to exceed 90 days.
