§ 152.079 STORM WATER DETENTION.
In addition to the other storm drainage requirements set forth in this section, storm water runoff control shall be provided. In general, it is the intent of this section to control the discharge rate of storm water to prevent accelerated runoff, flooding and stream channel erosion that occurs as a result of development. It is the general policy of the village that the post-development storm water discharge not exceed the pre-development discharge rate and that no properties adjacent to or downstream of the subdivision will be flooded. The design and construction of storm water detention facilities shall be in accordance with the County Engineering Code for Subdivision Development, Article X, latest edition.
