§ 34.21 SICK LEAVE; DISABILITY AND PENSION FUND; HOSPITALIZATION.
   (A)   Each full-time police officer shall be entitled for each completed 80 hours of service of sick leave of 4.6 hours with pay, upon approval by the Mayor, for absence due to personal illness, pregnancy, injury or exposure to contagious disease, or to illness, injury or death in the employee's immediate family, and such sick leave shall accumulate not to exceed 90 days of paid sick leave. Upon retirement, the officer shall be compensated for any accumulated unused sick pay at his regular hourly rate of pay, not to exceed 30 days of leave.
   (B)   Each full-time police officer will be enrolled in the Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund. Each part-time officer will be enrolled in OPERS.
   (C)   Medical and hospitalization shall be furnished for the Chief of Police and full-time officers in conformity with that extended to other full-time employees of the village.
