§ 34.16 TABLE OF ORGANIZATION.
   The table of organization of the Police Department of the village, based upon the estimated needs of this village, shall be as follows, effective the earliest time allowed by law, with such salary and wages as set for each position. The salary for each position shall be in accordance with the current amount set by ordinance of Council. The Council may implement the table of organization and fill such offices as it may deem necessary from time to time or may enlarge upon the same or reduce the same as Council deems necessary:
   (A)   One Chief of Police (full-time). Twelve month probationary period has been completed and five years of law enforcement supervisory experience, scheduled at 40 hours per week;
   (B)   One Captain of Police (full-time) and one full-time police officer (full-time) or two Captains of Police (full-time) to be scheduled as needed and determined by the Chief of Police, scheduled at 40 hours per week;
   (C)   Two full-time police officers (full- time school resources officers) to be scheduled as needed and determined by the Chief of Police at an annual salary, scheduled for 40 hours per week.
   (D)   Eight part-time police officers to be scheduled as needed and determined by the Chief of Police, or the Captain of Police if the Chief of Police is unavailable. Hours worked by the total of all part-time officers shall not exceed 5,500 in any year. Hours worked by each part- time officer shall not exceed 28 hours in any week.
