For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
WRECKER. A person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of, or offering the services of, a vehicle wrecker or towing service, whereby motor vehicles are or may be towed or otherwise removed from one place to another by the use of a motor vehicle adapted to and designed for that purpose.
